This section will have rehearsal recordings, practice parts, and other news for members of the current TCC session. Check back regularly during the session for updates.
If you have problems getting the recordings to play, try clicking on the title of the piece to bring up just that one song as a single page. We’ve found that some browsers play the recordings better that way.
Like these Japanese anemones in my end-of-summer garden, our Fall Session is about to start. We’ll begin Monday, September 21 at the Presbyterian Church of Ulysses Fellowship Hall at 7:00. If you are a current singer, be looking for the start-up email from Chris.
I’m excited about the music this fall. It’s the usual mix of jazz, folk, gospel, contemporary, pop, and seasonal selections that will be fun to work on and delightful to perform. It is so easy to become cynical in these ghastly times. The overwhelming theme as I chose the repertoire for this session was this: in hateful times, loving each other is a radical act.
Concerts will be Friday evening, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday afternoon December 19 at 2:00 p.m.
